30.04.2012 Goldeneye
Ok, now that even the press has talked about it, there's no way to keep it secret anymore. Theres' a new APLab machine in town, and it's called the Goldeneye. Goldeneye is a trolley that runs along a swimmingpool carrying two videocameras, to take videos of the athlete above and under the water.
The trolley has a 30VDC motor and is remotely operated by a joystick with a wireless connection. Designed and built by APLab, Goldeneye is one of the cutting edge technologies of the new Centre for Swimming Research at Acqua Acetosa, in Rome. More news, pics and videos of the Goldeneye and the centre will be posted soon. Keep in touch!
