21.09.2021 What the Velocity Meter can do
Our Velocity Meter Speed RT is a very powerful tool for coaches as well as biomechanics experts and researchers.
It is particularly useful when used with BioMovie Speed, a software for video analysis (a license of BioMovie is included for each purchase of a Velocity Meter).
The following videos show how the gliding phase of a swimmer can be analysed using Speed RT and BioMovie.
The speed curve measured with the Velocity Meter can be imported into the video and synchronised with the motion of the swimmer.
A virtual marker can be placed on the body of the swimmer to visualise its trajectory
Motion data can be visualised in real time on the video.
Significant details of the technique of the swimmer can be magnified and superposed to the video.
